Smoky Mountain Adventure Elopement // Christy + Robbin

Where to even begin?

There was a vision. There was intention. There was a dream. Of experience. Of sentimentality. Christy and Robbin conducted their wedding day and elopement as unique to them. As close to the terminology as “adventure elopement” can get, they gathered with their dearest family and closest friends at the trail head of Mount Le Conte as they saw one another for the first time, and waved their goodbyes to hike the first hike (and first date - yea, it’s a good thing they liked each other) they’d done together, in their wedding garb, to say their vows at an elevation of 6593 ft.

We raced the weather, and made it to the top in time to watch the clouds rolling in and rain showers in the distance, and were able to sneak a sweetly paced ceremony (led by THE Ben K, who stashed a spare shirt to hide the sweat, because hey guys, viking man is ordained to do such things), and a champagne toast before booking it off the tippity top of the mountain and getting utterly and completely drenched. Talk about a romantic way to end the day.

With the distant memory of sore muscles and full hearts, we hope you enjoy Christy + Robbin’s rain drenched photo adventure love story exactly the way they hoped to live it. Sentiment in its most pure form.
